Keep any dressing on after the initial piercing for 2-3 hours.

Keep the area around the piercing as dry as possible, gently dab dry with a clean tissue after a shower or bath.

Apply aftercare lotion twice daily. For Oral Piercings like tongue, labret etc, rinse mouth out with an antiseptic mouth wash. For genital piercings, bathe with salt water.

Let the air circulate around the piercing whenever possible.

Wear clean, loose clothes around he piercing.

Touch or turn the jewellery in the piercing.

Use strong antiseptics and creams.

Attempt to increase the size of the piercing until it has fully healed.

Remove any jewellery from the piercing if you do get an infection but contact us or if we are unavailable, your GP.
